![]() ![]() Just days after I left, I was told the old overhead wiring I worried about where I was parked, did start sparking. Not all of the wires are underground or well maintained. For anyone trying to get out and preventing fire trucks from entering the property. ![]() It has one way in and out with a narrow pinch point at the trash containers that will be a bottle neck in case of fire. ![]() My home Town of Paradise was destroyed by fire in 2 hours on Nov 8th 2018. There are a lot of people living here that you never see. Do not expect the usual camaraderie found at vacation spots. It is a low rent trailer park filled with permanent residents. This place is by no means worth their by the day charge of $70. $100 to run a refrigerator, TV, an occasional light and a fan for a month. The plus cost of electricity which you are not going to find out until ten days after you leave. If you are not happy here you are free to leave but they will not be returning your money. Overall we were happy with our visit and would come back.…īe careful to check what you are getting into before you give them any money. The Ugly: We had a good stay but walking and driving around the park we saw many long term campsites with very run down units, flat tires and generally depressing sites. Yes there are a lot of bugs at dusk - pretty normal for a location next to a bay. That isn’t bad- we appreciated the precautions, but amenity usage was limited as a result. Usage was limited for some amenities due to the COVID situation. The size of the fish pier on their map is not to scale! It is only good for 2-3 people. Their calendar advertised a Saturday community breakfast but they said it was only in the winter when the snowbirds were there. We wanted to stream Netflix -not much to do in the evenings without leaving the park, but could never get a good enough signal. We also loved the close proximity to downtown Corpus Christi and the beaches - about a 10 minute drive. The grounds were maintained and the grass was mowed. They have a small gift shop in the office. Short term guests have water, sewer and electricity included in the rate. Each site had a picnic table and ours was graded nicely. Note- the area is marshy with marsh grass - I loved it but it is kind of muddy. They had a nice little fishing pier that we enjoyed for a few hours one day. Beautiful views of Corpus Christi bay: There is no beach, but you could see fish, crabs and sea birds, as well as dolphins out in the bay. All four were well appointed and very clean. Two more were in the laundry building and were air conditioned. THE GOOD: Clean restrooms! They had four restrooms - two by the pool were open 24x7 and were beautiful and clean. We had an enjoyable time although I have read about issues with longer term residents. We visited Sea Breeze for a long weekend in July. Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip.Barcelo Bavaro Palace All Inclusive Resort.Hotels near Kaplan College - Corpus Christi.InterContinental (IHG) Hotels in Portland. For the price, Gulf Breeze RV Resort is top notch. For us, the only minus (and it's a small one) is the lack of a fenced area for dogs to run. All area attractions, restaurants, and beaches are only minutes away. All are handicapped accessible and spotlessly clean. Several bathroom/ laundry facilities are conveniently located throughout the park with four private, spacious bathrooms complete with toilet, sink and large shower in each. The wi-fi is good and cable access goes well beyond the minimum so often found in private campgrounds. The snowbird residents are friendly and the monthly activity calendar was full of interesting options. The management was immediately understanding and moved us to a new spot, this one nearer the dog walk area. Even so, it would have been manageable were it not for our large dogs. Admittedly, our first assigned spot was swampy - unavoidable with the constant rain. The spaces are generous, nicely shaded (or will be in summer), and level with good sized concrete patios. Clean, friendly, convenient, and affordable about sums it up. I can't say enough nice things about this RV resort. ![]()
